Stanford-KFUPM-Saudi Aramco trilateral field trip to Bahamas

Several members of the Historical Geobiology Lab were fortunate to be able to attend the 2017 trilateral Stanford-KFUPM-Saudi Aramco field trip to learn about modern carbonate depositional systems on Eleuthera Island, Bahamas. This was a fantastic opportunity to see the types of processes that result in the ancient rocks we study, and make new connections with students and faculty at KFUPM. Thanks to Peter Swart and Gregor Eberli from University of Miami for leading a great trip!
