Kyra Anderson

Kyra is an ecologist and ecophysiologist working on our lab project to understand how temperature-dependent hypoxia traits vary between animal clades. Additionally, she is leading a project to understand how the red sea urchin, Mesocentrotus franciscanus, will respond to future warming and ocean de-oxygenation. Kyra is also a master diver and heavily involved in the citizen-science Reef Check program.

Kyra is now a research scientist at the Washington Department of Natural Resources.
