Andy Marquez

Andy started as a graduate student in 2020, having previously worked in the lab on a project in collaboration with colleagues at the Stanford Hopkins Marine Station and Woods Institute using the metabolic index to understand how organisms will respond to future oxygen and temperature changes in the California Current system. Andy worked on how O2 and temperature changes affected organisms in the California Current ecosystem and during the Permian-Triassic mass extinction.
